Position: Senior Technical Analyst
Location: Portland, OR Classification: Regular Full-time
Summary: Position deals with all aspects of technical work in support of our clients.

Responsibilities
- Assist and/or oversee carrier marketings
- Draft quarterly and annual client reports
- Analysis of claim data and plan financials
- Develop renewal rates/reviews carrier underwriting
- Conduct stop loss marketing and provide analysis
- Develop employee contribution models
- Assist in the development of claim reserves
- Respond to clients' technical questions
- Attend client meetings

Specific Competencies Required:
- Good communication
- Knowledge of health and welfare plans and insurance carrier underwriting methodology
- Good writing ability
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Demonstrated ability to complete assignments in light of competing demands
- Ability to partner with other professionals in Craford's multi-office virtual environment and work effectively in teams
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business, insurance or financial field
- 3+ years of health and welfare insurance sales/service/underwriting
- 3+ years in health and welfare consulting preferred
- Successful collaboration with strong project teams in a virtual environment among multiple offices
- Current Oregon State agents license
